Description
The Smooth-5s smartphone gimbal is a powerful and compact stabilizer designed with a built-in fill light for your filmmaking solution. It is a 3-axis gimbal thus making it free to create and record content from any angle. The distance between each axis is wider, when compared to it’s predecessors, and this makes it easy to film super-wide and low angles. The motors’ strength has also been upgraded to allow for the support of large size phones. The phone clamp is also wider allowing for the support of extrenal lens options.
Stabilization for your footage is assured with the Smooth-5s in any type or speed of movement while recording. A fill light has been added to the tilt axis to brighten your footage. It provides upto 650 lux peak illuminance, 90+ CRI and 5000K CCT. To control the gimbal you have a menu button, joystick, dial and mode switch button at your fingertips. As such, you can operate and record in just one hand. The runtime for this gimbal is 24 hours and it takes 2 hours to recharge on a fast charger.
Dolly Zoom Effect
Dolly zoom effect is available in smooth 5s as one can switch to zoom-and-focus using the control wheel or automatic zoom in the app.
Shooting Modes
For your filming scenes, a variety of shooting modes are available with the smooth 5s gimbal. They are L, PF, F, POV and V. With the Vortex mode you get to add 360° spinning to your footage.
