The EOS R5 Mark II Mirrorless Camera by Canon is a full-frame mirrorless camera featuring a 45MP stacked, back-illuminated sensor and the DIGIC Accelerator image processor. A succesor of the R5 camera, this camera maintains it’s predecessor’s high resolution but also combines raw image data with deep-learning datasets for excellence in subject tracking and recognition, pre-continuous capture, blackout-free shooting, video resolution, and maximum recording time.

Deep learning datasets combined with Canon’s Dual Pixel Intelligence AF leads to improvement in subject recognition and tracking as well as the Eye Control Focus feature. Eye Control AF means that you can initiate where the focus point is by simply looking through the electronic viewfinder.

R5 Mark II’s processor also allows for shooting of high-resolution pictures at very high speeds of up to 30 fps full-frame raw when using the electronic shutter and up to 12 fps when using the mechanical shutter. You also get flash sync speeds of up to 1/250s when using electronic front-curtain shutter.
